Kaliteh or Kalouteh with dark brown and black color is a wet kind of Iranian dates that produced in Jiroft Kerman. The raw shape of this date is red and it looks like Mazafati. It’s very popular and exported to many countries because of the same shape as Mazafati. The moisture of this date is between 15%-35%.
Shelf Life: At room temperature about 8 months (for semi-dry type), under interim fumigation. At cold store from -8C to 0C depending on moisture content, about 1 year (for Rotab)
